Hello everyone! My name is Rachel Kaiser and I am double majoring in Political Science and Health Administration. I decided to combine both of my majors for this project, which is why I chose the United States Healthcare System. My goal is to inform others on topics such as health insurance, who owns the majority of health facilities, and I also want to compare healthcare in the United States to healthcare in other countries. I also want to discuss the differences between a non-profit, for-profit, and governmental owned organizations. The healthcare system is something that affects all of us. I think it is very important for everyone to have some knowledge of how it all works, and I hope to provide that to you!

ReplyDeleteThis is a topic that affects people in major ways and most of the population do not know much, if anything, about our health care system. I know I could use more information because my lack of knowledge on this topic is astonishing. I hope some of use will learn something from your posts because we are all learning to take care of ourselves and be on our own so learning about our health care system might just better prepare us for our lives after school.

I think its awesome that you are double majoring, I could never! I also did not even realize these two majors go so well together. Our healthcare system is always going to be around and its cool that you are going to spend time researching this topic. I am interested in seeing the comparisons of the U.S to other countries.
